The Words of God

I love daily scripture study. I love that The Lord has His word for us today. I love that I can highlight and mark and scribble and circle and cross reference. I love the scriptures.

I remember two summers ago, while attending EFY in Laie, Hawaii, I was taught a simple principle.

"If you want to talk to God, pray. If you want God to talk with you, read your scriptures."

Simple as that.

Although reading the scriptures is good, we are taught in 2 Nephi 32:3 that we must FEAST upon the words of Christ and that through His words we will know the truth to all things.

How great of a promise!
